Furniture: The 'Chardex' Lounge
A recent furniture piece designed and built by Tom. Having wanted to build a piece like this for a while, the daily jobs seemed to always take preference and it wasn't until we had the opportunity to exhibit in InDesign that we saw the chance to design and build this lounge piece.
Tom's design brief centered around wanting to use a recycled hardwood timber, but without the 'rustic' tag-line. He used a mix of recycled beams, which we have now learned to be a mix of tallow-wood and brush box to create this three seater lounge. With clean, sleek lines and a floating appearance this lounge is not only beautiful but surprisingly comfortable with it's large charcoal linen cushions.
So, without further ado please welcome the 'Chardex' lounge to the Timbermill family.
